MAPLA offers two levels of membership: member and associate. Pre-law advisors at undergraduate institutions within or outside the Midwest region are eligible for full membership.
Law school admissions representatives nationwide and other law-related constituencies (e.g., legal assistant programs) are eligible for associate membership. MAPLA members have access to the following benefits:
MAPLA Briefs, a newsletter published three times a year; see MAPLA Briefs for samples; MAPLA Profiles, a unique statistical compilation of current law school admissions information; an annual conference to keep members abreast of trends in admissions and legal placement.
To start or to renew membership in MAPLA, please print and complete the appropriate form (see below) and return it as indicated, together with the appropriate membership fee of $40.00, for pre-law advisors, or $60.00, for law school admissions officers.
