| What's this all about? |
| MAPLA, the Midwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors, partners with law schools from across the country to bring law school admission representatives to a campus near you. The MAPLA-coordinated Law School Fair is an opportunity to talk personally with representatives from many different law schools in one location. They have travelled from around the country to meet YOU. Ask the law school representatives questions about admission requirements, clinical opportunities, areas of specialization, financial aid, and any topic of interest to you. |
| Who can come? |
| The Fair is designed for current undergraduate students, alumni, and the general public. First-year and sophomore students can come and explore the variety of law school options around the country. Current applicants and juniors are especially encouraged to attend. |
| Why should I go? |
| Law School Admissions Representatives are eager to tell you about their programs. Expand your horizons and speak to a representative or two from a law school that you have never heard of (yet). There are many hidden treasures among the nation’s schools. Make an effort to get to know a few! |
| What should I talk about? |
| Ask the law school representatives about the qualifications and profiles of their admitted students, what sets them apart from the other schools, why you should be interested in their institution, or anything else on your mind. Don’t know what to ask? Click here for a sample list of questions. |
| How much does it cost? |
| The MAPLA Law School Fair is FREE to attend. Even better, the law schools will give you lots of good information about their school, material to take home, law school souvenirs, and great advice! |
