Law School Caravan 2011

Each fall MAPLA sponsors a law school caravan that brings law school admission representatives to four Midwestern University campuses. Typically more than 100 law schools participate at each site's law school fair, and 400-700 prospective law school applicants are able to visit with admission representatives throughout the course of the day. This year will be an all Big Ten Caravan, with stops at the great Universities of Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We anticipate an especially strong student attendance this year!

Last year 129 law schools participated in at least one stop on the MAPLA Caravan, and the average number of student visitors was over 400 per stop. We publicize the Caravan with all colleges in each site’s region. Last year each site on the Caravan attracted students from at least 15 neighboring undergraduate institutions.

This year MAPLA is offering a subsidy to prelaw advisors who live in cities outside of Caravan sites. We’ll provide up to $50 per student that they are able to bring. We hope this subsidy will even further boost attendance and draw some new faces to our events. Go to details.

Registration Form
Register and pay by September 26, 2011. Registration and payments received after September 26 will incur a $50 late fee. All checks should be made payable to MAPLA. MAPLA's federal tax ID is: 39-1365362.

MAPLA offers two easy ways to register for the Caravan:
  • Online Registration Form. You may complete the registration form online. You may submit payment via credit card or you may also print an invoice to mail back to MAPLA.
  • Download the 2011 MAPLA Caravan Registration Form PDF. Use this option if you would like to submit your registration and payment via postal mail.
All checks should be made payable to the Midwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors. MAPLA's federal tax ID is: 39-1365362. Completed print registration forms (using the download option above) or the "print and call" invoice (from the online registration process) along with payment should be sent to:
